Hi, I’m Dr. Mitch LaFleur DNP, MBA, RN.
I’m a nurse educator, emergency nurse, and creator of Professor LaFleur. My work blends real clinical experience with practical teaching, clear resources, and honest reflections on nursing, health, movement, and everyday life.
This space is built for students, nurses, healthcare professionals, and curious people who want information that is useful, grounded, and easy to understand.
My Approach
I believe education should be clear, useful, and grounded in real life. My work sits at the intersection of nursing, teaching, health, movement, and the everyday lessons that come from taking care of people. Whether I am building a classroom lesson, writing a field note, creating a resource, or reflecting on healthcare, my goal is the same: make complex ideas easier to understand and easier to use.
Simple ideas
The best teaching does not always need to be complicated. Sometimes the most helpful thing is a clear explanation, a better visual, a practical example, or a reminder that the basics still matter. I try to create resources that are thoughtful, approachable, and immediately useful.
Lasting impact
Good education should stay with you beyond the moment. It should shape how you think, how you care, and how you move through the work. My hope is that what I create helps nurses, students, and curious people feel more confident, more prepared, and a little less alone in the process.
